Just when I was wondering, “Whatever happened to Sarah Michelle Gellar?”, I spotted this news on her. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star has finally taken on hubby Freddie Prinze Jr.’s surname – five years after they wed!
Sarah has changed her famous three-part name as her wedding anniversary present to her actor hubby. A source tells Us Weekly magazine, “She officially changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze in honour of the occasion. On their anniversary, she showed (Freddie) her new driver’s license. It was so sweet.”
The couple met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997, before marrying in September 2002. They also starred together in Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2. And no, they are not in retirement. Both Sarah and Freddie have separate film projects going on, but nothing majorly big. |
